(The ambulance, first responders and Sullivan fire department boat arrived as Jo and Eugene were pulling out of Meramec State Park yesterday. It might seem like common sense not to jump or dive into any river without checking “deep holes” during these low flow conditions, however, we all know how “common sense” is impaired by peer pressure, or alcohol or both.
