Nixon signs SB 135; two provisions of outdoor interest

ShareSenate Bill 135 was signed by Governor Jay Nixon on June 22. This is an omnibus bill pertaining to environmental protection, meaning it contains a number of provisions on unrelated issues but which all relate to the environment or environmental regulation.

Share There’s been much hay made in the media the last few days about the Missouri legislature inadvertently banning polyproplyene containers, not the expanded polystyrene (Styrofoam) coolers they intended to from the state’s waterways (exception for Lake of the Ozarks, and the big rivers, where the legislature plays, of course.)
