The Conservation Commission met Feb. 7 at the Lake City Outdoor Education Center and Shooting Range, 28505 East Truman Road, Buckner, and on Feb. 8 at the Anita B. Gorman Conservation Discovery Center, 4750 Troost Ave., Kansas City.

our bills in the Missouri legislature this session have taken aim at the constitutionally-mandated makeup of the Missouri Conservation Commission. The bills would change the number of commissioners to 6 or 7 or 8, create geographical representation and make the number, qualifications and terms of the Commission a matter a legislative rather than constitutional matter. At their August meeting, the Misssouri Conservation Commission approved the suspension of hunting and/or fishing privileges of 25 Missouri residents for Wildlife Code violations. Those whose privileges were suspended are:
