Lead cleanup money may be coming to Big River

ShareAccording to fellow outdoor writer, blogger and friend John Winkelman, significant amounts of money may be headed to the Big River Watershed for lead cleanup and mitigation.
According to his article, Missouri is the beneficiary of approximately $100 million due to the settlement of the American Smelting and Refining Company (ASARCO) bankruptcy.
