Congrats to the Perry County Sportsman Club on their 50th anniversary, which they celebrated Sept. 12. The club, whose purpose is to improve hunting and fishing, and conserve natural resources as 225 members, 100 boosters, and a ladies’ auxilary. It owns 900 sporting acres, gives an annual scholarship,  works with the archery program in local schools, and cooperates with numerous Missouri conservation groups.
