Off Road Camping Club switches venues
Alan Young of the ORCC sent us this note:
The May 14th-16th ORCC event will be held at the Paddy Creek Recreation Area. This campground is in the Mark Twain National Forest. This is a beautiful area with great streams to float and wade fish (Paddy Creek & Big Piney River).
This event was previously scheduled at Huzzah Conservation Area, which is being closed to camping for the summer by the Missouri Department of Conservation on May 15.
Paddy Creek is a primitive/dry/no reservation campground. The amenities include vault toilet, table,
lantern pole, fire pit with grate. There is NO WATER at this location, you will need to transport or filter all water needed. Water can be filtered from Paddy Creek.
