NPS Stakeholder report now online

traveleroutdoornewssmIn the upcoming April Traveler, we will have our report on the Feb. 24-25 NPS GMP stakeholder meeting–interviews with a selection of attendees. After the paper went to press, we received this note from Ozark Riverways spokesperson Dena Matteson:

The final NPS report for the Feb. 24-25 stakeholder workshop is now available online on the NPS Planning, Environment and Public Comment (PEPC) website.
To access the PEPC website in order to review the report visit:
www.parkplanning.nps.gov/ozar. On the “Current Projects” menu, select
“General Management Plan, Wilderness Study, Environmental Impact
Statement.” On the next screen, select “Document List” from the menu on
the left. In the “Document List” the report is titled: “Ozark National
Scenic Riverways Stakeholder Workshop Report.”

Pick up a copy of Traveler, then go online and read the official report.
