ShareA broken pipe in a system for land-applying treated effluent from a wastewater treatment lagoon resulted in the release of more than 12,000 gallons of effluent into a creek at Cuivre River State Park east of Troy in Lincoln County Wednesday, according to the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.
