ShareMissouri deer hunters need to check out changes in hunting regulations before the season starts Nov. 14. Here’s a quick overview:
This year’s firearms deer season includes 42 days in six portions:

Urban. Oct. 9-12
Early youth, Oct. 31-Nov. 1

MDC urban firearms deer results Oct. 9-12

ShareJEFFERSON CITY-Hunters checked 1,242 deer during the Urban Portion of Missouri’s Firearms Deer Season Oct. 9 through 12.
Boone County led harvest totals with 247 deer checked, followed by St. Charles County with 160. Greene County was third with 139. The harvest consisted of 80 percent does.

4-point antler rule extended to 36 new counties
